Chrysanthe Nicole Frangos President [email protected] Class of 2025 B.S. Candidate, Earth Systems Major with Biology Minor, Stanford University Chrysanthe is passionate about wildlife conservation, ecology outreach, and investigating the relationship between people and their local species. ('20) President School of Earth, Energy and Environmental Sciences Stanford University Alan Wei President [email protected] Biology-Molecular Biology ('18) Alan is a sophomore studying molecular biology. At Stanford, he spends much of his time on research and outreach, especially in ecology. Outside of school, his interests include naturalism, photography, hiking/backpacking, and snowboarding. Mike Burnett Vice-President [email protected] Earth Systems: Land Systems Track ('18) When not studying, Mike enjoys hiking, camping, birding, playing the piano, and producing plays with the Stanford Shakespeare Company. Sophie Cristal Financial Officer [email protected] Earth Systems: Biosphere Track ('15); Co-term: Environmental Communications/Urban Ecology ('16) Sophie is passionate about helping everyone understand the beauty and importance of environmental science, no matter what their background. She is a founding member of the Stanford Birdwatching Club, a docent at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve, and also sings with the University Singers choir. Catie Mong Webmaster [email protected] Earth Systems: Land Systems Track ('16) Catie is interested in land use, particularly rancher-wildlife conflict and ways successful land management can benefit marginalized communities and conservation. She is a docent at Jasper Ridge, a member of Los Salseros de Stanford, and teaches Muay Thai (Thai kick-boxing). Ana Sophia Mifsud Bio Blitz Coordinator [email protected] Environmental Systems Engineering- Urban Focus ('17) Ana Sophia was born in Guatemala and raised in Miami, FL. She is interested in the intersection between environmental protection and development. For fun she directs Stanford's belly dance group: Akasma. |
